Port Arthur Todd Sr.

Services for Port Arthur Todd Sr., 98, of Crockett, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rising Star Baptist Church in Grapeland. Burial will follow in Campbell Cemetery in Crockett under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home, Crockett.

Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. A wake will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

He was born April 10, 1914 and died July 4, 2012 at Crockett Care Center in Crockett.

He was the husband of Emma Pearl Bell. She died 2009 and is also buried in the Campbell Cemetery. He was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Baker Todd. He entered the Army, 1942, trained at Camp Butner, NC, VA and KY. He served in Europe; was awarded GCM, ET Ribbon and 2 Battle Stars. Discharged in 1945.
