EDWARD C. ELLIS - 1895

Edward C. Ellis, third son of J. B. Ellis, died at the home of his father, last Tuesday,
the 3rd inst., from lung trouble, in the nineteenth year of his age.

Mrs. Mary Sims departed this life at the residence of her son-in-law, F. H. Hill, in this
town, on Friday the 29th inst. She had reached the advanced age of 78 years. Mrs. Sims had
been for many years a resident of the Concord Community in this county, and was a member
of the Concord Presbyterian Church.
Before the war, she had lived in Florida and Georgia, the latter being her native state.

Mrs. Rosetta Platt, living near Crockett, died Wednesday.
