MRS. WILLIE EDENS - died 9-12-1890

The friends of Mrs. Willie Edens were painfully surprised to learn
of her death at Waxahachie on the 12th. She had been in precarious
health for a long time. Mrs. Edens was a daughter of the late Dr.
Meriwether who lived up to the time of his death on the Elkhart. She
was born and reared in this county, and was equcated at Crockett
Academy.

Her remains, accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Dr.Frank Rainey of
Austin, her daughter, Miss Edna, and Miss Craig were brought from
Waxahachie and interred at the family burying grounds in
this county on the 12th.
