Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the First Methodist church. religious services were conducted by Rev. R. L. Lemons, the Methodist pastor. Interment followed in the Weches cemetery. Burial arrangements were in charge of Waller Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Curtis Willis, C. W. Dobbs, Thomas Moore, Troy Langham, Aubrey Shaw and Billy Sherman. Born November 17, 1921, the deceased was 25 years old. She attended Glover High School and Sam Houston State Teachers' College at Huntsville. Recently she had been employed as a cashier at the army air base at New Orleans. Miss Benedict leaves the parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Benedict of Crockett; three brothers, Osborne Benedict of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Albert and Harney Benedict of Crockett; two sisters, Virginia and Bettie Benedict of Crockett; a grandmother, Mrs. O. Holtman of Port Arthur, and other relatives, She had been a member of the Baptist church since the age of ten. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 23, at the First Methodist Church with Rev. R. L. Lemons officiating. Interment followed in the Weches cemetery. Survivors include her parents, , Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Benedict of Crockett; three brothers, Osborne Benedict of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Albert and Harney Benedict of Crockett; two sisters, Virginia and Bettie Benedict of Crockett; grandmother, Mrs. O.
