WILLIAMS - MASTERS

Family grave plot located behind Rice Survey three-tenths (.3) of a mile off FM2022. Visitor would take first left turn out of Crockett about four miles. Across the fence from a pond are the graves of:

Molly Williams, Lize Masters, Carolyn Williams, Friel Masters, Tamar Williams, also slaves Ned and Liz Masters

There are no markers. Those names were given from memory by Mrs. Nan Fowler Rice (Mrs. John Rice) to daughter Evelyn Rice Corley, Historical Commission member.
