SPEER CEMETERY - Prairie Point Community

Located southwest of Lovelady off FM-230, take the dirt road identified as Prairie Point Road after crossing Tantabogue Bridge. Turn right (south) at the first crossroad and the cemetery is on the right on the onetime Avery Johns' land. It can be seen from the road.

Census takers have included Dorothy Moore Brimberry Hawk, Alma Speer Wilson and Ruth Speer Ballew. Corrections have come from Virginia Speer Briggs of Bremond and Louise Arledge.
