JOHNSTON CEMETERY - Grapeland Area

Cemetery is located on land originally owned by the Johnston Family in early 1870s. Current owner is Mr. Gonzales of Houston. To reach Cemetery, take US287 north, turn right on Whitespot County road and go about 1/2 mile, take another right into private property where cemetery has an iron fence surrounding plot. Mrs.

N. M. Long, a Johnston descendant, originally read this cemetery for publication with assistance of Grady Edge, both of Grapeland. Mr. Edge verified for new edition.
