FERRELL GRAVES, UNMARKED
Located about one mile from the Old Walling Cemetery near the Walker Road,
west of Grapeland in the Daly area. Land is now owned by Loyce Pennington
Caveness.
For years, a cedar tree towered above the graves but lightning struck it.
The remains stand. Now sassafras growth shades the
graves. Submitted by Ava Pennington Bush. Additional entry by Hazel

FERRELL
Penelope; b: 1855;
d: 1876; d/o James Ansel Ferrell (1813-1883) and his second wife, Seleta
Revels (1833-1866), who married
in 1853.
Mickey; b: 1859; d: 1876; d/o James Ansel & Seleta. Both girls died of
typhoid fever.
