Dear Mrs. James,

I guess you will be surprised to receive a letter from me.

I am the mom who has Mrs. Nat Wades little girl and I am anxious to know her age.  I never have seen anyone who could tell me ---- age.  A Mr. Walker gave me your address and told me you would give me her age.

She is a bright little girl.  I have gave her two or three birthday parties but don't know her age.  If you will be so kind as to give me her correct age I will be very thankful.  She has been going to school for two years and is in high second.

I may bring her over to see you some time when I get a chance.
