1. Jacob GREGG was born 18 MAR 1821 in Illinois. He married Rhoda Frances LOVELADY. She was born in Alabama. She was buried in Weches Cemetery, Weches, Houston Co., TX.
Jacob Gregg was born in Illinois, on March 18, 1821, and came to Houston County in 1837 or 1838 and applied for a land grant  from the Republic of Texas for 320 acres adjacent to the Neches River - about 10 or 12 miles SE of Weches, TX.  The title was not cleared until May 1850. At this time he was granted a patent from the State of Texas. He later applied for two other tracts of 160 acres and received title to them.

8 vii. Nancy Jane GREGG was born 16 SEP 1866 in TX. She married Robert WOMACK 14 JAN 1886. He was born 12 SEP 1861,
          and died 11 OCT 1919.
