Dortch, Newman Andrew & Othello L. White Homeplace - Newman Andrew built this house and he raised his children there. Contributed by Nancy Adams.

Wilson Allen Green. Gaston Milford Green tells the story of his Uncle Wilson coming to town, "I remember when Uncle Wilson would come to town each Saturday. He never unhitched the horses from the surrey with the fringe on top. He would hand me the lines and I would climb up on the seat and take off. I would drive all over town so everyone could see me. I was the top dog that day!" Contributed by Nancy Green Stevens.
james carr dillingham
Dillingham, James Carr - 1821-1896 He was born in Mississippi and is buried in Old Tarrant Cemetery. He was married to the eldest daughter of Eldridge Hopkins, Isabella Marion Hopkins. He served in the US-Mexican War and was shot through the cheek/mouth. This picture was taken at age 59. Contributed by Will Hunsaker.
