Mrs Sarah Fuller
Services Set Here Friday
Funeral Services for Mrs. Sarah
Martha Fuller, 67, of Route 3, Athens, will be
held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Hassell and Foster Chapel with Rev.
Walter Hampton officiating. Burial will be in
the Rome Cemetery.Mrs. Fuller died unexpectedly
Wednesday at 6:45 a.m. She was born in Elkhart and had been a
resident of Henderson County for 50 years. She was a member of
the Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include her husband John Fuller of
Athens; two sons, Raymond Fuller and Derwin Fuller,
both of Center; two daughters, Mrs. Mary John Smith of
Athens and Sherian McCarley of Center; 16
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Note: Sarah "Sallie" was my grandma. I was
living with my grandparents when grandma passed away. We were
living on G. C. Pool's farm north of Athens and
did not have a phone. Me and grandpa went to the Bethel store
that Mr. and Mrs. Jensen owned and called for
someone to come out. Our cousin Dugan Boyd is
the one that got the call and came out and picked grandma up.
Grandma was born Aug 8 1905 and died Apr 11 1973. Contact
