Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Elizabeth Skinner
of Bellaire, who died Saturday at 4:45 a.m. in an Arlington
hospital after a sudden illness, were held Sunday afternoon at
the Hassell and Foster Chapel. Burial was in the Athens Cemetery.
Mrs. Skinner, widow of the Late S.W. Skinner
of Bellaire, a former Athens resident, was the daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Gauntt of Athens. She
was born and reared here and had been a resident of Bellaire
since she was a young woman. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs.
M.W. Harrison of Bellaire; one brother, G.C. Gauntt
of El Paso; four sisters, Mrs. J.C. DeBruin of
Athens,
Mrs. W. H. McDonald of Palestine, Mrs. Paul Schumann
of Sugarland and Mrs. J.M. Hollorn of
Arlington, and three grandchildren.
