Funeral at Beck's Chapel

Rev. W. M. Gaddy went to Beck's Chapel yesterday to conduct the funeral services over the remains of J. W. Moon, who was killed on a locomotive engine in Chicago, where he was employed as a engineer. The body reached Athens Monday night and was carried to the home of Mr. J. R. Wright, his step-father, in the Beck's Chapel community. Mr. Moon was a young man and a member of the Woodmen of the World which order had charge of the funeral.

Mrs. Frizzell Dead

After a lingering illness, Mrs. P. F. Frizzell, one on the old and highly respected residents of Athens, passed away at her home in Athens. She had reached the advanced age of 63 years 2 months and 14 days. For some time she had been very low, and for several days had been unconscious. At her bedside when the end came were her sons, R. H. Frizzell of Athens and Dr. T. D. Frizzell of Quanah, and her daughter, Miss Etna Frizzell. Besides these she leaves many relatives and friends to nourn her loss. Her husband preceded her about a year ago. Funeral services will be held at the Frizzell cemetery at Pine Grove, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Frizzell had been for many years a member of the Baptist church and the funeral services will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. M. Gaddy, assisted by Rev. R. W. Benge of the Presbyterian church. The Review extends sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives.
