Mrs. Bell Dies From Burns By Pressure Cooker

Mrs. Dan Bell, 41, resident of the Cross Roads community, who was
badly burned when she was removing the lid, exploded, died at the
Navarro clinic in Corsicana at noon Sunday.

The accident occurred on Wednesday, June 19th and Mrs. Bell was
carried to the hospital the following Saturday where she hovered
between life and death up until Sunday.

A small son of Mrs. Bell was also burned at the time but he has
practically recovered.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock with burial
at Willow Springs cemetery.

Burial arrangements were in charge of Ballard Undertaking Parlors of
Malakoff.
