Funeral services for Minyard V. "Pete" Loden, 63, were held on Wednesday in Foster and Brown Chapel with the Rev. Verion Feller officiating.
Burial was in Athens City Cemetery.

Mr. Loden died at 3 a.m. Tuesday following a sudden illness.

He was a lifetime resident of the Athens area. He was a retired mail carrier with 27 years service and a veteran of World War 11.

Survivors include his mother Mrs. C. V. Loden of Athens; one daughter, Mrs. Judy Dan LaBonte of Tyler; one brother Cleo Loden of Redding, Calif.;
one sister, Mrs. Leonard Campbell of Tyler; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers were postal employees.
