Mr. Gregory Dies; Rites On Friday

Marshall H. Gregory, 76, died in a Dallas hospital Wednesday
night after a lengthy illness.
Born in Athens, he had lived here all of his life. He was veteran
of World War 1 and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Gregory is survived by his wife, Mrs. Letha Gregory of
Athens; four sons, Clarence Gregory of Lawton, Okla., Jessie
Gregory of Belmont, Mass., and Johnny Gregory
and Marshall Gregory Jr., both of Athens; one daughter Mrs. C. H.
Beauchamp of Lancaster, and 17 grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Carroll and Lehr Memory Chapel at 2
p.m. Friday with the Rev. Fred Moseley officiating, and burial
was in Athens City Cemetery.
Marshall was born January 16, 1891 and died August 10, 1966 in
the V A Hospital.
Parents were Jim Gregory and Sarah Ross.
