Funeral services set for fire victim

Local services for Lois Theola Brown, 57, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Carroll & Lehr Memory Chapel. Additional services are set for 2 p.m. Monday
at Laurel Land, Dallas.
Burial will be in Laurel Land Cemetery.
Miss Brown died early Saturday morning when fire swept a dormitory at Putnman farm at Carroll Springs where she resided.
She was born June 8. 1920, in Hutchins and had been a resident of this area about five years. She had previously lived in Midlothian. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her father, E. H. brown of Lancaster; three brothers, F. M. Brown of red Oak, Hollis Brwon of Waco and Lewis T. Brown of Winnsboro;
and one sister, Miss Evelyn Sue Brown of Hutchins.
