Services set for Juanita Bell
Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita J. Bell, 46, of Athens will be
held at 2 p. m. Saturday in the Allen Chapel AME Church with the
Rev. J. l. Woodfaulk officiating.Burial will be in Athens
Cemetery under the direction of George W. Tucker and Son Funeral
Home.
Mrs. Bell died Wednesday night in an Athens hospital after a
brief illness.
Born June 16, 1933, in Athens, she lived in Athens all her life.
She taught school in Athens 21 years, and was a second grade
teacher at South Athens
Elementary School at the time of her death.
She was a member of Allen Chapel AME Church and of Stewardess
Board No. 2 in Athens, and was one of the organizers of the
Enchanteers of the church.
Survivors include her husband, Billy G. Bell of Athens; a
daughter, Miss Tanya LaJole Bell of Athens; her mother, Maggie
Beasley of Athens; two brothers,
Joe W. Beasley of Athens and Horace C. Beasley of Wichita, Kans,;
and three sisters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Massey and Mrs. Claudine
Blakemore, both of Athens,
and Mary Devereaux of Casper, Wyo.
Pallbearers will be Lawrance Sanders, Clyde Bowman, Joe H.
Wilson, George J. Barker, C. U. Westbrook and Joe H. Elam.
