Services are set for Joe Klysen
Services for Joe W. Klysen, 40, of Athens
are set for 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Edward's Catholic Church with
the Rev. B. G. Eades officiating.
Carroll and Lehr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Klysen died Wednesday in an accident at the Texas Utility
Plant in Fairfield.
Born Sept. 9, 1938 in Marshall, Minn., he had been a hauler for
the Industrial Plant Transportation of Texas Utility at the Big
Brown Plant in Fairfield.
He had lived in Clarkfield, Minn., before moving to Athens two
years ago.
He was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church, was a veteran of
the army and had lived in the Baxter Community.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Joan Marie Klysen of Athens; one
son, Scott Klysen of Athens; two daughters, Kimberly Klysen and
Kelly Jo Klysen
both of Athens; his mother, Mrs. Antonette Klysen of Granite
Falls, Minn.; one brother, John Klysen of Montevideo, Minn.; and
two sisters,
Mary A. Vandenbroeke of Tyler and Marge Verstraete of Ghent,
Minn.
Pallbearers included Randy Lambright, Jim Brown, David Heald,
Bill Turner, Rick Vandenbroeke and Bob Vandenbroeke.
