The Malakoff News Tyler, Tex. April 9. -- Funeral services for J. E. Morgan, 84, Confederate Veteran and father of Hugh Morgan of Malakoff, who died after a two months illness were held Saturday at Rock Hill church, five miles west of Chandler, conducted by Rev. C. R. Childress. J. E. Morgan is not listed in the Rock Hill Cemetery records, there is a James L.- 14 TX Cav CSA listed but no dates. His son Hugh Morgan is listed in the Malakoff Cremetery |
