Services planned for Henry Evans

Services for Henry Evans, 78, a lifelong resident of LaRue, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Union Station AME Church with the
Rev. L. C. Emmanuel officiating.

Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery at LaRue under direction of George W. Tucker and Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Evans died Sunday in his home after a long illness.Born Dec 6, 1899, at LaRue, he was a retired farmer and a member of Union Station AME Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Evans of LaRue; 10 sons Ester Evans of Las Vegas, Nev., Jeffrey Evans of Anchorage, Alaska; and Edward
P. Evans, Henry L. Evans, Dan M. Evans, Allison Evans, Leo D. Evans, Ira L. Evans, Olious D. Evans and Edward J. Evans, all of Dallas; one sister,
Mrs. Emma Lee Neal of Dallas; 35 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
