Former Cross Roads Man Dies In Dallas

E. M. Roddy, age
65 years of Dallas and former resident of the Cross Roads
community passed away very suddenly at the home of his nephew,
Bennett Ashley in Dallas sometime during the night Friday. It is
said that the aged man retired early in the evening feeling hale
and hearty and was found by his nephew Saturday morning cold in
death.
The body was shipped here Sunday morning for burial in the Post
Oak cemetery. Funeral services were held from the Post Oak Church
Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Carter, community pastor,
officiating.
