Funeral services were held here Monday afternoon for Mrs. Ella Mae Stogner, 79, who died at her home in Athens Sunday following a long illness.

Services were held from the Hassell and Foster Chapel with the Rev. Marvin Johnson and the Rev. Bill Holloway officiating. Burial was in the Davis Cemetery.

Mrs. Stogner, a member of the Baptist church had lived in Henderson County for the last forty-five years.She is survived by two sons, Evan Stogner
and Melvin Stogner, both of Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Lou Howard of Baxter; a brother, Henry Miller of Athens; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
