Funeral services for Mrs. Della Sympathia Youngblood, 100, of Route 3, Athens are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Zion Hill Assembly of
God Church with the Revs. Chuck Scharlemmer and Otis Munns officiating.
Burial will be in the Zion Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Youngblood died Tuesday in her home.
Born Jan. 8, 1884 in Silsbee County, Ala., she married Pink H. Youngblood and moved to the Walton community near Athens when she was 25 years old.
She spent the rest of her life there and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Herndon T. Youngblood of Athens; one daughter, Atheleen Youngblood of Athens; one sister, Mrs, Mattie Ford of Henderson;
five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Williams, Mike Ottaberry, Taylor Slayton, Ernest Morgan, Dewey Fancher, Herman Fancher and Weldon Foster.
