Funeral Services For Clint Tanner Held At Rochester

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 in Rochester,
West Texas for Clint Tanner, 69, who died there
Saturday afternoon at 3:15.
Burial was in the Rochester Cemetery.
Mr. Tanner, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Tanner
of Athens, was reared in Henderson County. He left here some
thirty-five years ago.
Surviving are two brothers, Wallace Tanner of
Athens and Sol Tanner of Terlock, California,
and four sisters, Mrs. Arch Perdue, Mrs Jim Corley
and
Mrs. Jimmie Pinkerton all of Athens, and Mrs. J.
M. Bell of Rochester. He was an uncle of Mrs.
Elton Corley, also of Athens.
Sol Tanner attended the funeral rites in
Rochester and came to Athens to visit with relatives before
returning to California.
