Funeral services for Bobby Eugene Head, 56, of Dallas will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Eubank Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with Joe David Ruffin officiating.
Burial will follow in Moorehead Cemetery near Eustace. Mr. Head died Wednesday in a Dallas hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept 20, 1926, in Dallas and was a Highland Park fireman for 25 years. He was a lifetime resident of Dallas and a member of Meeley Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Easley) Head of Dallas; one son, Jerry Wayne Head of Dallas; his father, Dallas Head of Dallas; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth McCaffery of Mexico, Maine
and Margaret Plunkett of Roanoak, Va.; two grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tom manning, Bill Manning, Johnie Meador, Gene Gilliam, Robert Kennemer and LeRoy Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Highland Park Fire and Police departments.
