IN MEMORY
(Tribute to "Aunt" Lucy Crawford)

"Aunt" Lucy Crawford was 81 years of age when she left us to go to her
home in the sky.  She leaves two brothers and a host of relatives and friends,
with sad and aching hearts.
She was well known and loved by all who knew her,
and will be missed as we travel on our way.  She lived a life for  Jesus, and will
be at rest up there on high.  She wil be missed from her home here on earth, but
week not loved ones, "she is not dead, but only sleeping."  She will be happy
when she awakes in her home in Heaven -- no pains, no aches, sorrow or care.
It makes us happy to know that she's in Heaven with the Angels.  But oh how we'll
miss her.  She was dear to us, and we loved her so much.  We liked to hear her
talk of the "good old days," and things of her childhood life, but never again will
we hear her talk or see her in that old wooden rocker, for "Aunt" Lucy isgon but
not forgotten.

Malakoff Pioneer Dangerously Ill
  Malakoff, Texs,

Feb. 24-- W. L. (Fate) Evans, one of the old pioneers of the Malakof section, is
critically ill at his home in the western part of town, and but very little hope is entertained
of his surviving this attack for many days.  Mr. Evans has spent practically all of his life in
this section and is well and favoravly known throughout the entire county.
  Uncle Fate has
been in failing health for more than a year and at times seemed that he was improving and
would in a large measure be himself again.  However, for the past two or three weeks he
has been failing fast and the end seems very near.  It is possible that before this article is
read by Review readers he will have passed into the great beyond.
  Mr. Evans was for many
years prominently identified with the business interest of Malakoff and retired from business
about seven or eight years ago.
