Twins Buried In Double Funeral At Post Oak

Funeral services of little Doris and Donald Tanner, 5 months
old twins of Mr. and Mrs. E A Tanner of this city, were held
from the family home at 6 o'clock Thursday afternoon with
the Rev. Wallace Clark, pastor of the Baptist church
officiating. Burial took place at the Postoak cemetery
immediately following.

Doris and Donald were born on February 11 and would have
reached the age of 5 months on last Monday. Both were
sickly since birth and all that human hands could do proved
of no avail. Donald passed away at 2:30 on Wednesday,
while his little sister lingered until 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July
7th. They were laid to rest in a single grave.

Post Oak Cemetery: children of Emory A. and Minnie Lee Tanner.
Doris is listed as Delores
another child listed is Maggie Lee.
