Three Deaths At Athens
SPECIAL TO THE NEWS
Athens, Tex., March 10 -- Mrs. E A Hendrix died
of paralysis at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. C
E Hoffman. She was in her sixty-fourth year. She
came to Athens from Missouri. She was buried today from
the Methodist Church. Rev. R W Benze
officiating.
Henry Spurgeen, infant son of George
Harrill, died at the residence of his parents
and was buried today, Rev. R W Benge officiating.
Mrs. C C Chapman (Aunt Chatty)
died from the effects of burns which she received. She was
in her sixty-eighth year and had been a resident of this
place or community for more than fifty-years. She was
buried today from the Baptist Church, Rev. J E
McClarkin officiating.
