Graduates of '28 Hold Reunion Here on Sunday (Part 2 bf)

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of their graduation from the
Athens High School, members of the class of '28 met at the home
of their sponsor, Mrs. Horace Barron, Sunday afternoon from 2 until 5.

Homer Lee Parsons. President of the class and Miss Eleanor Spencer,
acting as host and hostess, had charge of the entertainment and they
were assisted by all local members.

As members arrived they were asked to call the name of each former
classmate. Some had not seen each other since the day of graduation.

The class prophecy was read, old scrap books, old pictures and autograph
books brought forth hilarious laughter. Happy memories of school day pranks
were told and retold while eight lovely children of members played on the floor
and wondered that grown people could talk and laugh so much.

At five o'clock guests were invited into the dining room whre Miss Lillian Barber
presided. The table was covered with a lace cloth. Class colors of pink and
green were carried out in boquets of roses and gladioli placed on the table and buffet.

Miss Florence Robinson, Mrs. Dick Derden and Miss Annie Royall assisted
in serving frozen punch and cookies to fifty guest.

It was a very happy occasion and all left making plans for the next ten years.

Letters and telegrams from members who could not be present were recieved
and read from Mrs. Chas. Simpson, (Lois Henderson), of Clarksville,
