Clayton E. McElhany (I
believe he's the one in the white shirt) and his brothers (late
50s) I
think this may be a George and Fanny's house on Larkin St.

Johnson Smith on Mill Run Road, mid-1930s.

and Fanmy Pace at Owen Cemetery on

most knew him), Athens HS graduation

Popo (L.E. Pace) unloading tomato baskets on
Mill Run Road.
My dad (Madison Smith Pace) and
his dog at home on Mill Run Road.
The photo I would love to find
out about is Lee's Grocery, pictured is my grandfather L. E.
"Preacher" Pace with another gentleman. Popo is the man
with the dark hat and coat.
The family photo is in front of
the L.E. Pace home on Mill Run Road, I'm guessing 1934-35, as my
dad seems to be 9 or 10 years old.
Jack McCool with a load of
melons from my grandfathers farm on Mill Run Road. Jack was the
manager of the department store on the square (K Wolens) when I
was 10 or 11 (1968 or 69).
Leonard E. Pace as a private in
San Antonio 1918.
John and Wylie Thornton, they
traveled from Alabama/Mississippi with my g-grandfather, Madison
T. Pace. They lived near Eustace and had family in Cross Roads.
My g-grandfather, Rev.
Madison Touchstone Pace of the Primitive Baptist Church. I
believe it was located in the Pine Grove community.
Rev. Madison Touchstone Tony Pace"s Find a Grave memorial that gives more history.
