Joseph lll, Giles & Joseph J. Pruitt, Henderson Co., TX

This photo from left to right. Is Joseph Jackson Pruitt III, his son Giles
Pruitt in the middle and his oldest son Joseph Jackson Pruitt to the right.
You will find them in the 1900 Henderson County Census, household 11/11. In
this census is Joseph III wife Lucy, Son John, daughters Emma and Laura.

Also in the 1900 census you will find Joseph III brother George Pruitt and
his wife and kids in household 152/156.

Joseph III was my great grandfather, Giles my great uncle and Joseph my
granddad.

Joseph III and Giles lived out there lives in Ft. Worth. Joseph is buried in
Greenwood Cemetery in Ft. Worth and Giles in Arlington Cemetery in
Arlington, TX.

Joseph married Jettie Garrett, daughter of James Garrett and Janie Boyd.
They and had 5 children; Lucy, Emma, Joseph or Bud, Dewey or Bill and Janey.

After Jetties death in 1923 they moved to Ft. Worth, then to NM and onto
California. Joe remarried a Frances Belle Stewart Baker in Ft. Worth. Both
are buried in Sacramento Memorial lawn Cemetery, West Sacramento, CA.
