Malakoff Girl Is Training Interne At Terrell School
From The Malakoff News
Friday
Mrs. Perry Trammell, nee Miss Blanch Allen, daughter of the Rev.
and Mrs. Earl Allen of Malakoff, is presently engaged in practice
teaching at Terrell High School. A student at East Texas
Teachers College at Commerce, Mrs. Trammell is working with
Mrs. Robert Rahmlow in the commercial subjects department and in
an interview at the Terrell school last week, she stated that she
was enjoying the experience a lot.
Mrs. Trammell, whose picture, together with her instructor, Mrs.
Rahmlow, appeared in the Terrell newspaper, must spend eight
weeks at the Terrell school in her practice teaching work.
In her duties, she will include taking over a class by herself a
certain number of periods, observing the teaching methods of Mrs.
Rahmlow, making notes and filling out report blanks.
Mrs. Trammell, a native of Malakoff and a graduate of the
Malakoff High School, is due to get her bachelors degree in
business administration in June. She has no preference, she
said, as to what school she might want to teach when she goes to
work. She is 20 years of age.
Mr. Trammell is in the employ of the Texas Power & Light
Company.
