Walnut Creek
Walnut Creek, Sept. 11- Everybody is very busy picking cotton. Lots of complaints of leaf worms in cotton.
Miss Pearl Christopher is visiting her grandmother, Mrs. Christopher.
Dan Fitzgerald of Blackfoot was out among friends of this place one day last week.
Farris Ballow spent Saturday night with Dan Ballow of Athens.
Mr. and Mrs. John Ballow of Athens spent a few hours with mother, grandma Donnell, Sunday evening.
Mr. Pryor and daughter, Vivola Pinckard and children, were visiting Mrs. Alice Pinckard of Sand Springs last Friday.
The F. F. A. boys and girls of this place had a nice booth at the Cotton Palace. They won fifth place.
Those visiting in the A. Ballow home Sunday were: Bryan Wallace of Turkey Creek and Mr. and Mrs. Sumar Kinmbrel (Kimbrel) of Cross Roads.
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Donnell and Mr. Bob Tanner attended the singing Sunday afternoon at Oakland.
Charlie Pryor spent Saturday night with friends at Bethel.
Little Mary Alice Pinckard is spending this week with her grandmother, Mrs. Pinckard, in Sand Springs community.
