TRANSCEDAR

Transcedar, Jan. 15--After a small shower and cool norther everybody that is able is cheerful enough. It is so dry in these parts that the frogs will sureely have to put *oct (page torn) wings, however the farmers are going right on just like it was raining a plenty. Some farmers are ready to plant and that is not bad.

It is useless to try to tell who is sick, as there is some one sick at almost every house. It is colds and light attacks of the flu.

Jack Griffith was visiting in the Payne Spring* (the s is left off here) community last week.

Bennie McLaughlin and family of Payne Springs were visiting at his brothers house last Saturday.

Some parties went hunting last Saturday and reports finding plenty of squirrels.
