Sampson
Sampson, Dec. 12-- the measles are raging in our community. Those who have then now are Annie Ruth Webb, J. T. Hickman and Lois Lambright.
Mable Webb was absent from school last week on account of the measles.
Mrs. Dick Troublefield and her daughter, Leara Nell, spent the week-end in Dallas.
W. G. Warren and family visited their son, Rayford Warren of Tyler Sunday.
Mrs. Huey McClain attended the funeral of her uncle, Jack Tucker Friday at Malakoff.
William and Arthur Palmer and Clyde Brown of Murchison, were visitors in the Huey McClain home Thursday.
Mrs. Hazel Brown and little son, Billie Royal, spent last week in Athens visiting her sister, Mrs. Noel Duckworth.
Jim Wallace of Denison, is spending his vacation in the home of T. J. Kinchen.
The boys junior baseball team of Carrol Springs, defeated Sampson baseball team of Carrol Springs, defeated Sampson baseball team Friday the score being 5-14.
