Crops are looking very well especially corn.
Cotton is coming out. O the grass! the grass! but we are downing
it fast. Gardens are fine; everybody living fine but we need fair
weather.
We love sunshine even when it pours forth its rays through the
columns of the REVIEW.
Berry pickers from the prairie are in; we will have to quit our
work and gather berries if (part of page missing) get any. That
is another -- ould not be allowed and there will be an effort
made to prosecute some of them at --.
Mr. Gannon lost a horse last week. he had it
side lined and it fell on a snag about two feet long striking it
behind the shoulder and going through killing the animal
instantly. Don't side line your horse only in an open field.
J. C. Lewis lost a horse last week.
Mrs. Highsmith has been sick; also George
Robertson.
We regret very much to learn that J. F. Jackson happened
to the misfortune of getting his
leg broken last week.
Will say to Prog would be glad to have A. B. Watking For
governor.
What has become of E. Jen! Wish he would come
out and let us hear from him.
Exit.
