June 16 - Health not very good at this writing. T. M. Brown is very ill.

No rain in this part of the country yet. Crops have begun to need rain bad.

The young people enjoyed a singing at A. L. Stidham’s Saturday night.

Several boys from here attended a dance near Leagueville Friday night. The singing at Tom Scott’s Sunday night was extra fine; large crowd present.

W. Dearen and wife of Ben Wheeler visited in our community Saturday night.

E. G. Langley and family of Murchison spent Sunday with relatives here.

Fletcher Bryan spent Sunday with J. O. Scott.

Miss Pearl Bearden has returned from Murchison.

Misses Ellen and Ida Stidham attended an ice cream super at Murchison Friday night; they report times lively.

W. H. Baron and wife spent a few hours Sunday afternoon at W. E. Jordan’s.

Misses Freddie and Eunice Scott spent Sunday night with Betsy Scott.

Miss Onie Barron and brother Howard attended all day singing at Edom Sunday and report a nice time and good singing.

Edward Cauthron of Edom was a ca??? In our community Saturday night.
