(From Frankston Citizen)

Sept. 9 -- We are still having hot, dry weather and a colling shower would
be appreciated by all. -- Well the cooling shower came -- Ed.

Miss Lucile Shaw is able to be up we are glad to say and convalescing nicely.

Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Greer and daughter orf Athens, are visiting relatives in
Poynor this week.

Miss Charlsie Emerson visited Mrs. H. C. Greer and family in Athens for the
week-end.

Mrs. Sam Beard and daughter, Misses Edith and Una, of Frankston, visited
Dr. Shaw's family Sunday.

Mrs. Nan Allen of Dallas, is visiting relatives in Poynor this week.

Mrs. Tom Smyrl and little daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thrasher, Miss Mae Thrasher,
and Don Dqucett wnet to Kickapoo Spring for moonlight picnic Tuesday night.

Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Knight and Mrs. Allen visited relatives in Tyler Sunday.

Mrs. Carrier Miller of Tyler visited relatives in Poynor for the week-end.

Mrs. Boyd Bacon of Frankston spent the week-end with her mother, Mrs. Murphy.

Mrs. Alfred Dickerson is on the sick list at this writing.

J. B. Zimmerman, Jr., is visiting his aunt, Mrs. Dora Benton, in Houston.

Dr. Shaw made a business trip to Frankston Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Dickerson spent the week-end in Athens with relatives.
