Feb 2-The weather is pretty; everyone seems to be enjoying it.

Miss Vinnie Ball is sick at the present time; also Shelly Ball is sick.

Frank Dunn has returned from the West.

Jack Harbison, depot agent of Mt. Vernor has come home on a vacation.

Joe Armstrong has returned and will work for Ed Corley through the crop season.

Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Day are on the sick list with the flu.

John Ball and family visited Prof. Turner’s parents Sunday.

Mrs. Gladys Cox has come home from Dallas.

Mrs. Bertha Turner and baby of Dallas are visiting her father at this writing.

John Ball and family and Prof. Turner motored to Alto last Sunday a week ago.

W. Y. Howell and family are on the sick list at the present time.

Mrs. May Corder visited her parents Sunday.

Miss Bonnie Lawerence of Brownsboro spent the week end with Miss Ester and Liddie Day.

Prof. Bracewell of Pine Hill spent the week-end in our midst.

There was a candy breaking at Mr. Shelley Ball’s last Saturday night. Everyone who went had a nice time.

There will be church at Opelika Saturday night, Sunday and Sunday night. Everybody come.
