The attendance at services Sunday was still rather short on account of sickness; only 74 present for Sunday School. The prayer meeting has been changed to Friday night. We will begin at 7:30 and get thru in time for the singing.
Gordon Moase of Okeham, Okla. spent last week in the D. P. Morrow home. The first time he has been here in 50 years. He spent a month here last time.
Mr. Curtis Dingler and Miss Lorene Townley, popular young people of this community were married last Saturday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Walker of LaRue spent the week-end here with the latter's mother, Mrs. R. F. D. Richardson.
Llelwyn Mills and Bill Cupp of Baxter, Miss Ella Crossley and Lula Morrow attended the singing at Brownsboro Sunday.
Jack Holley of Longview spent part of last week here with his mother.
Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Christopher of Dallas visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N.A. Christopher here over the week-end.
Mrs. I. D. Owen's sister, Mrs. Sudie Copeland of Brookston and her mother, Mrs Sini Brown of Brownsboro is here visiting her.
Miss Marie Crossley of Okmulgee, Okla., spent last week-end in the R. A. Chapman home.
Miss Jimmie Wrinkle of Ennis is here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Luther Norris.
Mrs. Hubert Mills and a large number of relatives celebrated her birthday Sunday with a dinner.
Mr. and Mrs. I. D. Owen visited near Brownsboro Sunday.
R. M. Atwood of near Poynor spent part of last week in the D. P. Morrow home.
Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Lanier and Mrs. M. E. Easley spent Sunday at Baxter.
Andrew Tatum of Waco is visiting here in the home of his uncle, Guy Tindel.
Mr. and Mrs. Y. W. Garrett and son, William attended the home coming services at Colfax Sunday and report a delightful time.
Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Kinery of Dallas, are here visiting relatives.
Mrs. Tom Killingsworth was called back to the bedside of sister in Malakoff.
K. C. Killingsworth visited his brother, Tom, here Sunday afternoon.
Durward and Wendell Killingsworth spent the week-end with their sister, Mrs. Doil Perkins of Malakoff.
Bro. Hopkins of Trinidad will preach here Sunday night.
