New York, Nov. 11 -- Health is very good in the community, with the exception of Grandma Laugham who is very low at present. We hope her a speedy recovery.

On account of the rain Saturday night we did not have a box supper but we will have it next Saturday night, November 16th and we are expecting a large crowd and lots of money.

The New York Wildcats and Orange Blossoms motored to Baxter Friday afternoon and defeated the Baxter teams by a large score. The captain of the Orange Blossoms, Lula Morrow, says probably they will have another game Friday.

Several from here attended the tent show at Athens last week.

Claridge Hall of Athens was visiting relatives here Sunday and Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Vandiveer and daughter, Earnestine of Lindale are visiting relatives here.

School is progressing nicely at present.

Frank Allbright, who is attending school at Tyler Commercial College is visiting homefolks this week-end.

Frank Dingler is visiting his sister, Mrs. Elliott of Corsicana.
