A fire alarm was turned in Sunday afternoon from the Ruff
Titsworth residence.
The fire was caused from burning soot that had collected in a
flue. The flue burst
open permitting the fire to catch the woodwork in the ceiling.
The fire was put out
before the fire truck arrived. The roof of the building was
covered with snow,
which probably prevented a bad fire. There was only smell damage
to the building.
