Marriages in Athens, Tex.

Special to THE NEWS.
Athens, Tex., June 4 -- At the Baptist church in this place at 6 o'clock p. m. on Tuesday, June 1, Miss Annie Cecella Richardson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Richardson was married to Dr. E. Perry Bass of Mineral Wells, Rev. J. E. McClurkin officiating. The bridal party left at once for Mineral Wells, where they will reside.

On Tuesday evening, June 1, at the Methodist parsonage, in this place, Walter Faulk and Miss Dora Hoffman were united in marriage by Rev. W. D. White. It was a Gretna Green affair.

At the Methodist Church in this place at 9 o'clock p. m. Wednesday, June 2, Miss Julia Jones and Charles A. Richardson, both of Athens were united in marriage, Rev. W. D. White performing the ceremony. The bridal party left on the midnight train for points in Colorado, where they will spend some days.
