Dwight Carson spent Monday and Tuesday in Athens.

Jesse Robertson was in Athens on business Monday and Tuesday.

Will Cartlidge of Tyler spent a few days in our city last week.

R. L. Vandagriff of Dallas spent a few days in our city last week.

Floyd Smith returned to his home in Dawson Tuesday night after a
short visit here.

Mrs. H. C. Lammers of Dallas attended the funeral of her little Niece,
Laverne Vandagriff here last Friday.

Wayne Vandagriff of Dallas attend the funeral of his little Niece,
Laverne Vandagriff last Friday.

Maurice Tanner left Tuesday for Dawson for a few days visit with his
sister, Mrs. Floyd Smith.

T. A. Bartlett, H. L. Flagg, A. S. Tanner, Jr., Dan Gentry, Maurice
Tanner, Floyd Smith of Dawson and Ray Jarvis of Hubbard were in
Athens Monday winding up the division of the A. S. Tanner estate.

Rev. Cartlidge of Athens was in our city one day last week.

A. S. Tanner, Jr., left Tuesday for Houston to resume his position after
spending the past few weeks here on business.

Mrs. E. W. Noble and children returned to their home here Saturday
after a delightful visit of several days with friends in Dallas.
