LaRue Items
Mr. Chapel of Louisiana has arrived in LaRue and taken charge of
Mr. Finley's barber shop.
He states that Mr. Finley will arrive this week.
Dr. Hays has leased the J. Cotle building and will move his
office to same.
B. P. Smith of Leagueville was in LaRue Monday on his way to
Poynor where he went to
look at a piece of land.
Frank Dingler of New York was in LaRue Monday.
Kirk Wimberly and Mr. Bowie of New York were in LaRue Monday.
Rev. Gus Callaway and wife left Monday for a visit to Palestine
for a few days.
Miss Alice Baker visited home folks at Athens Saturday night
returning Monday.
Commissioner Tindel was in LaRue Monday.
John Spencer of Athens was in LaRue looking after cotton business
Tuesday.
The recent heavy rains have done considerable damage to crops
around LaRue.
Roland Tindel went to Athens Sunday. night returning Monday
night.
