LaRue Notes
Tom Butler has moved in W. O. Wood building on north side of the square.
Mrs. Wm. Williford of Fincastle was in Larue Sunday.
W. T. Langham and wife went to Poynor to visit Sunday.
Miss Pearl Butler visited home folks at Poynor Sunday.
Nat Dean is erecting a building on west side of the square. he has rented or leased same to Fred Ayres the phone man who
has bought a new switch board. After installation of the new switch board we are assured of better service.
Mrs. B. M. Jones and Miss Alice Baker went to Athens Saturday night, returning Monday.
The steel gang has completed labors and moved on east. The bridge gang has also moved. They went west Tuesday morning.
Sam Bynum of New York was in LaRue Monday.
J. W. Park is out on the road selling candy. We wish Jim well in his new avocation.
P. M. Miller went south Sunday. We don't exactly know where he went but some one does.
Next Monday night, April 7, the LaRue Business League will meet in regualr session. Everybody is cordially invited to attend. The League is for the upbuilding of the LaRue country, not any special interest but for the welfare of all. The League is entitled to the support of every good citizen in the LaRue country.
Mr. Wilbanks and Rudolph Skinner of Anderson county were in LaRue Monday.
A. S. Poindexter who once lived at LaRue and owns a ranch in Anderson county, was here Monday looking after his interests
and visiting his brother who is in charge of his ranch.
