Brownsboro, Texas, Feb 27-A little blowing after so much rain.
Prof. Willie Harvill is very sick at this
writing.
Miss Grace Johns who is teaching at Edom spent
from Friday to Sunday with home folks.
O. L. Hargis is in Bullard today. Wonder what
the attraction is?
L. Loftis had business in Athens Monday.
Miss Grace Johns and Miss Gladys Stuart were
shopping Tyler Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Johns, Mrs. T. A.
Hargis, Mrs. T. D. Lemmons and Mrs. Ruby Foster
were shopping in Athens Tuesday.
Quarterly conference was held at the Methodist church Sunday;
plenty of dinner and owing to the inclement weather there were
not a very large crowd. Dr. Elrod, the presiding
Elder preached some interesting sermons.
Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Temple and
children spent the week-end visiting relatives at Tyler.
Mr. and Mrs. Claude Carter
spent the week end in Nacogdoches with Mr. and Mrs..
B. F. Carter. On account of bad roads and heavy rain
they were unable to get any further than Tyler in their car
Sunday and had to come in Monday morning on the Cotton Belt.
We have another new Cotton Belt agent in our town.
Henry Ragan and Mrs. Pearl Barry
left for their home at Eldorado, Ark. Sunday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Boley Williams and
Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Craft, after
spending a few days here left Monday for their home in Louisiana.
