High Seriff Falls Victim to Stop Signal
The law of Athens is no respector of persons. On Sunday morning,
Sheriff Morrow, whil driving in the city, diliberately passed
over one of the stop siginals. He had no more than passed whien
the shrill wistle of Cop Shug Stirman was heard. The sheriff at
once saw his error, but Shug told him to "Tell it to the
judge," on Monday morning.
The moral of this little story is: "Beter be safe than pay
out an iron man."
